The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is a California bureau level organization liable for regulating and planning crisis readiness, reaction, recuperation and country security exercises inside the state. The office was made by AB 38 (2008), overriding both the Office of Emergency Services (OES) and Office of Homeland Security (OHS). The office is comprised of the following services Executive Division, Homeland Security Division, Office of Administrative Services, Preparedness and Training, Statewide Operations Division, Law Enforcement Division, Fire & Rescue Division, Recovery Division, and Technology Operations.
