California Citizens Redistricting Commission

The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is the redistricting commission for the State of California liable for deciding the limits of regions for the State Senate, State Assembly, and Board of Equalization. The Commission was made in 2010 and comprises of 14 individuals: five Democrats, five Republicans, and four from neither one of the majors party. The Commission was made after the section in November 2008 of California Proposition 11, the Voters First Act. The officials were chosen in November and December 2010 and were needed to finish the new guides by August 15, 2011.
