The Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy is a state office set up in 1991 to seek after this mission, and is coordinated by a 20-part overseeing board. The Conservancy is a remarkable illustration of neighborhood networks, state chose authorities, non-benefit associations, and business and ecological interests cooperating to benefit all. Since its beginning, the Conservancy and its accomplices have moderated more than 96,000 sections of land.
