The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy is an office of the province of California in the United States established in 1980 and devoted to the securing of land for conservation as open space, for untamed life and California local plants territory Nature Preserves, and for public diversion exercises. The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy was set up by the California State Legislature in 1980. Since that time, it has assisted with safeguarding more than 72,000 sections of land of parkland in both wild and metropolitan settings, and improved in excess of 114 public sporting offices all through Southern California. Furthermore, it has offered awards to not-for-profit associations for instructive and translation programs that have served countless kids and other park guests.
